Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are between you and InsaneArts for the website at opies.io and the Opie app for Mac. Tornike Gomareli is the developer. If you do not agree to them, do not use the website or Opie.

The app

Opie is free. It runs on macOS 26 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. You download it from this website. The download is signed and notarized. You do not pay to download it or to use it, and you do not need an account on this website.

InsaneArts lets you download Opie and use it on your Macs. That is a permission to use it, not a sale of the app, and it does not make Opie yours to resell or to present as your own product.

Acceptable use

Use Opie and this website in a way that is lawful. In particular:

• Do not use Opie to harm other people or their computers.
• Do not interfere with the website, including its analytics endpoint.
• Do not try to break, overload, or get around the site.

The website

The site may change, and it may be unavailable. What the site stores is described in the privacy policy.

No warranty

Opie and the website are provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, InsaneArts disclaims warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. InsaneArts does not promise that Opie or the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, InsaneArts and Tornike Gomareli are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, arising out of Opie or the website. To the extent the law allows, their total liability for a claim about Opie or the website is limited to the amount you paid for Opie. Opie is free, so that amount is zero.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

Changes

InsaneArts may change these terms by posting the new terms on this page and updating the effective date. If you keep using Opie or the website after that, you are accepting the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using Opie and the website.
